Taxi driver v5.2
Living in Bucharest is not an easy task… This is what big cities have: lots of stuff nice to see once, but when you have to see that every day and also the “dark side” you get kinda bored of it. What I most hate about Bucharest are dogs and taxi drivers. There are lots of dogs on the streets so I never go alone at night, this is why I usually have to call a cab. Funny, right? So, trying to avoid the dogs I always call a cab. What happens? Well, as we work in shifts we have a contract with a company to send us cabs to take us home after 10 o’clock in the evening. The problem is that these taxi drivers that come here are either rude, either they drive too fast, or they tell you their life (and this in the moments when you just want him to shut up and take you home), or they ask questions about what we do in our company, or they ask for computer games, and the list could continue… I’m just sick of them and their stories and of them thinking that we could not live without them. No sh%&!
Last night I was going home with one of my colleagues, Andrei, so each of us went to his cab and the driver of Andrei’s got out of the car and started to shout that “you are late, maybe I should have left and let you go walking home” and stuff like this. Yeah, right, like that was the only cab in Bucharest. Let’s get serious, almost 30% of the cars in Bucharest are cabs. I don’t know what Andrei did because I was soooo sleepy and I really wanted to go home, the problem is that this happens all the time. And what most pisses me off is when you get in and you tell him where he has to take you and he starts telling that he has to be in a certain place at a certain moment and starts driving so fast and ignore traffic lights and everything… It is so annoying…
Ok, today I’m quite against taxi drivers. I’m going out for a smoke and then I’ll call a cab to go home. Let’s see what happens this time.
