Welcome to a new day!
I love it when I wake up and I see the sun shining. No, I don’t mean that I love sleeping til late, only that I like to see light when I wake up, although I love that too
Today I didn’t really wake up, I haven’t slept at all, I’ve been almost all night playing online games with my boyfriend and I didn’t let him sleep either (sorry, it will not happen again
) and then I watched “The IT Crowd” as I had something to do at 6 o’clock in the morning and I knew that if I went to sleep I would not wake up.
I recommend to any IT person to watch this series. You will laugh with it, I promise. I’ve spent a couple of hours watching it and it’s quite nice. It’s not the best series that I have seen in my life, but it’s entertaining. Those are things we often hear or say: “Did you try turning the computer off and then on again?” “Do you see a light flashing?” “Oh, then please press the button” “Er.. do you know how to use a button?”. Unfortunately, up until now there are only 6 episodes from the first season and these are quite short (like 20-25 minutes each) but I’m sure that more episodes are on their way. Just give it a try.
Yesterday I got quite pissed off because I’ve got some sort of allergy because of a sandwich I ate on Sunday at work. It is so, so, so annoying. So, this goes for you Alina, think twice before eating those sandwiches. I wouldn’t have eaten that but a colleague of mine told me “I’ve eaten one three hours ago and I’m fine”. Ok, I did it, two hours later my face was a complete disaster. I’m still trying to find a way to deal with it as it ended up conquering all my body
. But it’s ok, I guess nothing can touch me this morning. It’s a really nice morning, one of those mornings that smell like high-school, I also remember my year in university, when we were four girls sharing a room. I used to hate it sometimes, now I really miss it, but still I wouldn’t go back. I got quite used to having my space and I enjoy it.
So, it’s spring, sun is shining and this is exactly what I’ve been waiting for in the last three or four months. I really missed the sun, it makes me want to go out and feel more alive. Winter is quite boring. It’s nice when it’s snowing outside and you are inside watching TV, but when you have to go to work every day it’s not that nice. I hope it will not start snowing again, I can take rain, but not snow again please! So here we are, a nice spring morning, when all seems possible, when everything is nice, when life is a gift. I want Friday to come!!! (I miss you
).
Bruno and I have started our own Linux distribution. I’m willing to learn and I guess this is one of the best methods (and the training sessions “in house”
). I hope we will have it running soon. I always enjoyed changing things, making things on my own, seeing something made by me so I’m quite excited with this.
I should also start studying , the exams are coming, two months left only. I hope I can take them and I can start studying again this year in a better place (closer to you).
So, going to bed now to see the other three episodes of The IT Crowd that I still have. I hope you all have a great day today. Tonight and tomorrow night shifts. It’s been a while…
Tough luck…
And he is gone now… Two weeks here, and these two weeks are over now. It makes me quite sad, but I know he’ll come back, he promised to do so and I trust him. I cannot see Lost alone, so he really has to come back. And soon I’ll go there, to stay this time.
So, conclusion: I’ve spent two great weeks, I’m really happy, thank you Bruno for coming and for giving me three other boyfriends
More photos to come soon.
Now back to work…
Lost in tres kilos de sare
On Sunday morning, after a night seeing Lost, we’ve met a few gitanescus on our 8 hours magical trip to Cluj. They were so nice that one of them was almost trying to give us 4 Vodafone prepay cards as a present, for only 30 euros. And they told us jokes, very good jokes indeed. “Te voy a contar unas chistas”, he said with his innocent voice. They were just returning from Spain after a meeting with the Police that took them gently to the airport: “A tomar por… “, they told them. So this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship… Nice people, very nice jokes and a gorgeous smile made our trip worthwhile. After exchanging phone numbers and impressions about Romania and Spain, in a fair Spanish they offered us candies with a strange white dust on them. No, it wasn’t cocaine, hopefully. Due to the fact that they were so nice people we started watching Lost again so that they would not be tired and they could share part of their personal charm with their families. Then nothing, they decided to share some jokes with us after being there two hours laughing of the same “egg-joke”. We laughed and felt guilty for it. It was rather sad.
After these 8 hours we arrived there where the sarmale master was waiting for us. We got home and ate a remake of the traditional sarmale while we told my brother the “egg-joke”.
Yes, he looked at us with the “poor you, you are stoned” smile. At least that was not a joke of us, it’s not that sad. The rest of the trip was quite “normal”, if you include in the “normal” cathegory going up 342 stairs looking for a castle that didn’t exist. Yeah, brilliant. At least we could enjoy a beautiful sight of the city and find chestnuts to throw them just for fun. Going out with my cousin, going to the botanical garden (yes, it was covered with snow) and other 8 hours in train, talking and seeing Lost.
Now, some photos and we’re out (going to see Lost).
